Gulmohar Se is an album built around the ghazal, the classical Urdu poetic form, brought into contemporary song. Each track sets the poetry of Ali Abbas Zaidi to music composed and performed by Schumaila Rehmat Hussain, with visual direction by Sarmad Khoosat.

The album takes its name from the Gulmohar tree, known for its vivid flame-red blossoms. It is a record about beauty, longing, and the persistence of feeling.
